Please note there is no meeting in July. Our next meeting is Aug. 3, and our own Mary Lewis will present on Strings, Crumbs and Crazies. Come learn how to put your scrap pile to work. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is at Oneco Hope Global Methodist Church, 2112 53rd Ave. E, Bradenton.

The guild board meets at 5:30 p.m. on the same day. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Membership dues are just $35 for a year of fantastic Guild events and wonderful friendships, not to mention terrific quilting.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month and include a short business meeting and an educational program, which may include guest speakers, demos, instruction, trunk shows, social time and more. We have a monthly newsletter "Patchwords" available online, and we host an annual quilting retreat.
